Recycled Slabs | Kitchen Countertops

Eco: Beautiful, Ecological EfficiencyIt’s time for our industry to recycle. Our environmental commitment is proven in products such as ECO by Cosentino®.

In the first year, ECO’s production line consumed the following equivalents of recycled material:

Consumption of glass: equivalent to 65 million bottles.

Consumption of vitrified ash: equivalent to a tower of 530 meters in height and a base of 10 square feet.

Consumption of discarded mirrors: equivalent to 2 million mirrors of 39″ x 39″.

Consumption of ceramic material: equivalent to 538,195 square feet of ceramic tile.

Ice Stone

The concept of IceStone – diverting glass from the waste stream and “upcycling” that glass into a premium product- was conceived as a solution to challenges throughout the stone industry.

Since 2003, IceStone has stood as a pioneer at the forefront of a durable surface revolution, innovating beyond toxic resins, petrochemicals, and dangerous quarries. Few brands can match the “true” green story of IceStone, and fewer still can produce their unique composition of cement and recycled glass.

Today, IceStone offers the safest and most sustainable durable surface in the world.

Manufactured from 100% recycled glass and concrete under sustainable circumstances, IceStone redirects tons of waste glass from landfills every year.

Vetrazzo

The Vetrazzo story began in 1996, when a brilliant scientist from Berkeley, California, who was fascinated by the properties of glass, invented an entirely new product. He developed an innovative mix of recycled glass that could be used to create highly durable, beautifully coloured slabs.

Vetrazzo artisans craft each individual slab with care, and each piece of glass is placed by hand. Vetrazzo is truly the epitome of advanced design, skilled engineering and painstaking artisanal knowhow.

The result is an authentic work of art that tells a story in every incredible surface!
